My goodness!

I came home this afternoon and there was the Amazon box on my porch. I couldn't remember having any "waiting on it" orders (but sometimes I order some kind of weird stuff, stuff they don't keep in stock, so you never know). And I opened it up and there was the book on the New Madrid quakes and the Inspired Fair Isle book. What a lovely and generous thing. (My favorite pattern on an immediate look-through is Peat...even if I don't make the whole sweater I might adapt the curvy little "rootlike" fair isle motif for a pair of socks).
