Some of the stuff that the craftzine blog's featured lately has been either kind of "meh" or "man, that's a lot of work for something that ugly" but I have to say I think this pair of Chuck Taylors that have been painted in the Attic red-figure style are awfully cool.

The only bad thing is if I had a pair of those, I'd be afraid of wearing them, lest I damaged the paint job.
