Yeah, pretty much. Actually grew up more in the "Midlands" range (more south of Cleveland than this map shows), but my mom is a northerner (UP of Michigan) and I take after her in speech.

i have a midland accent. the type that newscasters covet. however, i say y'all? whatever. (omaha's on the fringe of that)
