We are slowly replacing equipment lost in last fall's burglary. One piece of "my" equipment (that is, that was lost from the lab I use) came today from Corning.
I opened it up and said, "Oh, it's my stirrer....And a hotplate!"
I felt compelled to make that last statement but no one got me.

Yeah, I got it! And I quote that line a lot, too. That and, "Now I'll go back to doing whatever it is I do..."
