They have, apparently, not turned the heat on in the faculty-offices part of the building. It is 14 degrees Celsius which I think is something like 57* Fahrenheit.

I do not complain about these things much, but: It. Is. Too. Cold.

I am supposed to hold office hours today. I am supposed to have a student come in and take a make up exam. I cannot deal with it being so cold. I have fingerless gloves on and I can barely type. (I am sitting here in my coat, hat, scarf, and fingerless gloves and I am still cold).

We are not supposed to call the physical plant with complaints; the secretaries have to follow a positively Byzantine system to take care of anything like that. But I don't know. This might constitute an emergency. I mean, if I had a weak heart or something....
