aw, crap.
so, my co-teacher comes in this afternoon (earlier) to tell me he isn't going to be in tonight. He had a doctor's appointment (I know not for what and I'm not nosy enough to ask) and they wanted him to go get an MRI. And get it today rather than tomorrow.
oh, crap.
I'm not saying this at all because I have to teach the class alone - I'm down with that and the students are nearly done with their projects anyway so it probably won't be much of a class. But I'm worried now. This person is a friend - I didn't know there was a medical issue going on, he's a very private person. I'm praying it's a knee MRI (tho' I haven't seen him limping) or rotator cuff or summat like, and not a brain-tumor-type MRI. Because I really don't want to think of this person going through scary-bad head surgery or chemo or radiation or stuff like that.
I hope it's something really minor and easily fixable, or nothing at all.
he said he'd drop by towards the end of class if he got done any early. I'm hoping he does because that will mean either (a) it was nothing after all or (b) I will be able to get a read from his face or actions as to how serious it is.
