WTF Thursday?

Grading papers. On a quiz, I asked a true/false question about one of the laws of thermodynamics.

on one paper, I got the answer "Ionic bond."


(That reminds me, dimly, of something from Sesame Street eons and eons ago...Kermit the Frog was trying to help a little kid say the alphabet. As they said a letter, it would appear on the screen [this was back in the old, pre-computer-graphics days, so it must have taken a bit of work]. The kid started being silly and at a couple points would say "Cookie Monster" instead of the next letter in the sequence. And a little graphic (like a line drawing) of Cookie Monster would appear.

That is what this answer makes me think of.
