Something weird I never mentioned:

I didn't get a fortune cookie or anything (not that I remember at least) telling me to expect people to come back into my life, but in the past six months, two people I had lost track of found me again.

First, it was a good friend from high school. I kind of knew where she was, but had lost her address in the process of moving.

And now, one of my old dorm mates from college - probably my best friend in the dorm - she was my next door neighbor. The really funny thing is she lives near Dallas and teaches in Commerce, so she's not very far away from me.

They say things happen in threes, so I'm interested to see if I have a third person e-mailing me and saying either, hey, is this you? or do you remember me?

I don't exactly have what I'd consider "old flames" (and the closest to an "old flame" I have is now in a lifestyle* that wouldn't get re-involved with me) so I don't expect it would be that.

(*Catholic priest. Were you thinking something really salacious? Shame on you.)
