I also have to say I figured out a fun thing to do to celebrate my birthday next week. Tuesday the 28th (the day after my birthday), there's a small orchestra coming to campus to give a concert in honor of this year being the 250th anniversary-year of Mozart's birth.
it's on an evening where it's unlikely I will have a meeting or other commitment (and if one comes up, I'm going to see if I can get out of it without too much guilt; the very next day I'm taking the youth group on a field trip [fear and trembling about that] and then on Thursday I have a usual monthly group meeting). It won't involve having to drive farther than campus (which, these days, is nice. I like going to Target and all but you know, it's a real drag to have that hour round trip to do it). And I haven't been to a concert in AGES. I used to go all the time when there were concerts on campus, but recently I've had so many evening commitments that it's gotten to the point where a night at home when I don't have to go out is rare enough that I don't always take advantage of the cultural things. But this, I'm going to do.
And I don't know about this:
Sleeping beauty, Princess briar rose.
There she lay, so beautiful that he could not turn
his eyes away, and he stooped down and gave
her a kiss. But as soon as he kissed her,
briar-rose opened her eyes and awoke, and
looked at him quite sweetly.

What qualities of Briar Rose could I possibly posess?

Something about your responses must have revealed your fondness for textiles. Briar Rose did prick her fnger on a spinning wheel.
Belle is the princess (though she wasn't a princess she was a merchant's daughter) I resemble according to the quiz. And since La belle et La bete is my favorite I won't quibble :)***CV
i was belle as well, and while belle may have been a merchant's daughter, she had the heart of a princess. ya think?
