Two non-knitting FOs:
I (finally) got the revision of the dissertation paper to go through on e-mail (the editor of the journal? Had to be out of the office on Tuesday and he received a batch of other manuscripts, so his mailbox filled up). It should be published early next year.
I also weighed alllllllll the biomass bags. I couldn't face the cleanup so I'm coming in tomorrow to do it - I have to seal up all the bags in big plastic bags (you don't get rid of your research material until the paper comes out as a publication) and sweep up all the crumbs that hit the floor. I need to be here anyway, my good research student is going to take the seed bank stuff home with him to babysit it over the break so I told him I'd help him load them up into his van.
(And the old saying about the only reward for good work being more work? When I e-mailed my coauthor to tell him about the paper finally being "done" he reminded me we have two other papers I wrote and either haven't submitted or haven't resubmitted and he wants to work on them over my break. Oy.)
