I must finish my grading, but first:

Well, no one has "officially" tagged me for this (boo hoo) but Alexandra did a general "be tagged if you want to" on her semi-blog

What is your all time favourite yarn to knit with?

I don't really have just one. I'm pretty fond of the Araucania Nature Wool, and also Morehouse Merino. And I loved 1824 Wool (rest in peace). For sockyarn, good old Socka or Lorna's Laces.

Favorite needles?

Addi Turbos for big things
Pony Pearls (yah, I know, everyone else hates them but I don't) for socks
Balene or Crystallites for straights

The worst thing you've ever knit?

Oh, I don't know. I have a big chunky horrid cardigan knit out of Landlord - it's too warm for here (polar weight), the buttons are too heavy (I bought ceramic buttons and they drag all over the place) and the sleeves are too long for me. But I don't have the energy to rip it all out and reconfigure it.

Your most favourite knit pattern? (maybe you don't like wearing it...but it was the most fun to knit)

Most fun? The Bookworm Vest is pretty fun. So is Sitcom Chic. Cabled socks are fun. Fibonacci is fun.

Most valuable knitting technique?

Being able to rescue a dropped stitch, miscrossed cable, or stitch that was knitted when it should have been purled without having to rip allllllll the way back.

Best knit book or magazine?

I'm still pretty fond of Interweave Knits.

Your favourite knit-a-long?

I'm not one of the "cool kids," I've never done one.

Your favourite knitblogs?

Look at my sidebar. Other than that, I'm not going to play favorites.

Your favourite knitwear designer?

Nancy Bush. Also Cheryl Oberle and Veronik Avery. I guess for me "Favorite" is as much in the sense of "doesn't regularly produce things I think are clunkers" as it is in the sense of "things I like to knit"

The knit item you wear the most? (how about a picture of it!)

Man...it's been a long, long time since it was cool enough to wear anything knitted. I think probably the brown Bookworm vest was the thing I've worn the most, simply because it goes so well with so many things.
