Some in-progress shots.
The thing I'm working most actively on right now is the Hiawatha shawl. I've finished the second (symmetrical about the "center" of the shawl) band of the Feathers:
I just began on the second band of Pine Trees, but haven't got very far yet. Then it's another band of the Pukwana of the Peace Pipe, then Starlight, then the side panels again.
I'm still thinking about other shawls. I'm seriously tempted to wind off the yarn for, and start, the Wool Peddler's shawl - the first hundred or so rows are just garter stitch, with some yarn overs for increasing. That wouldn't require deep thought, and looking at the fall-foliage colors (it's the Knitpicks variegated lace yarn in Red Maple or whatever they call it) makes me think of fall, and cooler weather, and apples that aren't storage-apples, and new-crop sweet potatoes, and all those good things.
And this is how far I am on the Bookworm vest right now. The white yarn is waste yarn holding the stitches where the pockets go.
And then finally, here's the first green sock. I'm working on its mate, I'm about midway through the second of the diamonds.
