I think I'm going to make the red-cabbage indicator - I have half of a red cabbage sitting in my fridge at home (from a weekend batch of sweet and sour red cabbage) that I'm unlikely to use otherwise. And it might interest the students in my non-majors class (we are doing pH tomorrow, among other things).
