I've finally cracked the code of how to maintain an even tension on the cotton/silk blend (the Fable) without killing my hands.
One of the challenges of knitting with cotton is that if your gauge is even a little variable, it shows. And I don't know that blocking could fix it. So I've been very conscious of gauge as I knit on it.
I also tend to knit tightly (I often have to go up a needle size), which contributes to the "killed hand" thing.
I did manage to add perhaps another inch to the Bookworm vest last night.
