Yeah, I did go home. I started to feel vaguely nauseated during my class, so I figured home was best. I feel some better now; I think it's partly that I needed to eat. I've not had much of an appetite so I've not been eating. I made a bowl of chicken noodle soup and a peanut butter sandwich (which is a good combination, surprisingly) and now I feel some better.
I also sat and watched the "Vatican-cam" (if it's not disrespectful to say it that way) on one of the news channels. I'm not Catholic so who the new pope will be won't really affect me personally, but by golly, I wanted to see the white smoke and all and be able to say that I saw the results of the election when they first came out.
I don't know. I just think it's cool that they use that method.
Knit some on the second Patch Antik (or is that Antik Patch? I don't remember) sock.
And a quiz:
Your Linguistic Profile: |
55% General American English |
15% Upper Midwestern |
15% Yankee |
10% Dixie |
5% Midwestern |
'twould be interesting for me to take it again in, say, five years, to see if the Dixie component increases and the Upper Midwestern fades...
