ha ha ha ha ha. My mom rocks!
One day, when I was home over break, I was at the grocery store with her. We were looking at the Easter candy and I commented that one thing I missed about being grown-up was that I didn't get an Easter basket any more.
Well, look what came in the mail yesterday:
Peeps, the GOOD kind of jellybeans, Dove chocolates, and an Easter SpongeBob. (I think she said my dad actually went out and bought the candy so I have him to thank for the excellent selection).
Another picture: over break, I finished the first Lily sock:
I scribbled down a pattern but I'm beta-testing it on the second sock. I'll post it once the socks are done, or if I can figure out how to do a .pdf file and make it a linked page, I will post it as that. Or I'll post it, and then offer to e-mail as a Word document the pattern to anyone who wants an easily-printed copy.
Oh, and to Lydia: You killed mint? Dude, that takes talent! Mint is one thing I will NEVER plant in my garden because of its Mongol Horde tendencies.
