I've got photos to post, but right now the site that hosts them is down.
I can't complain, I get the photo-hosting for free, I just hope it's an issue related to the blizzard back East or something and will be resolved soon. (Kristie? Anything I can do on this end? Is it a bandwidth thing where taking some of my old photos down would help? Can I kick in to help pay for bandwidth?)
Started a new project this weekend. One of my goals for this year is to work down my stash, especially vis-a-vis sweaters. So I pulled out the raspberry colored 1824 Wool that's been marinating in my stash since summer of, like, 2003, and I cast on for the Zelda pullover in the Mission Falls Harvest book. (It's a simple tunic-type pullover with a lace panel on the chest, upper back, and sleeves). I got about half of the stockinette-stitch part of the back knitted while I read journal articles on Saturday.
I picked away at various things Sunday, including some of my Sunday Is For Sewing goal. (Another plan for this year is to try to use up some of the buttload of quilt fabric I have stashed away). I worked some on the long-ongoing Yellow Brick Road quilt, but realized I misread the instructions and have to pick apart some of the strips I had sewn together. (Luckily I had not cut them into the smaller pieces. That would have been bad). I hate ripping seams and even with the purchase of a handy dandy new seam ripper, it's still not fun. So I worked for a while, then said "bag it" and knit on the Landscapes scarf and the lace socks for the rest of the day.
