Well, I MEANT to take a photo of the progress on the Left Front of the Dolman Reconstructed after two exams and a wait in the nurse's office for my allergy shot, but it slipped my mind. But be assured, I got from just before the second body increase (which is perhaps five inches into the knitting) up to the sleeve rows (17" in).

And I have another - probably the longest - exam today, and I have the sweater along. Maybe I will finish this piece today. (And I do have scissors and chibi needles and everything I need to cast off and to start the next part - I was a Girl Scout for five years).

This isn't ideal exam-proctoring knitting, though. It's a bit too basic and unless you're in the short-row-wraps and bind-off-for-neck parts, it's kind of boring. (This had been my knit-and-read sweater).

And bless Carodan Farm's heart. (in the sarcastic Southern-Lady sense. Bless their little heart.) They now carry sock "grab bags," with yarn for three pair of socks.

I cannot resist a grab bag.

I did manage to resist, however, ordering more than one.

I do hope that my grab bag doesn't turn out to consist of yarns I already have...which is a distinct possibility. Ah well, maybe I can offer it in swappage if I do.
