Here are a few shots of the garden:

First, my very first bean! (it's circled in pink; the wind made it a little hard to get a super-clear shot). And to think that everyone laughed at the "Yankee" planting her beans on St. Patrick's Day....

And, two shots of the herb garden. It's not in its full glory; I've just planted a number of things. (Every year I lose a "perennial" or two). I haven't used the herbs for much; I've harvested basil to cook with and last year I tried making a rosemary decoction to rinse my hair with. (Which wasn't a good idea, as it turns out, for someone with dry hair. Marjoram would have been better, which I am going to try this year, as I have a big clump of sweet marjoram).

However, the herbs kind of become my 'babies' and it's hard for me to strip leaves off of them.
