The visit with my parents was good, except when they visit me (rather than the other way around), I become very aware of how small my house is, and how there is very little to do within a half-hours' drive of me.

I did finish my taxes (fed. refund, small payment to state), get some grading done, and finish an abstract for summer meetings.

I also completed the Art Nouveau Rose socks. And began a pair of "simple" socks from a self-striping yarn, partly because I want something to work on while I read the documentation for a MERLOT site that I am supposed to review.
