I'm off to do a bit of cooking for a party tomorrow night, wash hair, pack. Tomorrow is the last Communion prep until January, graduation, and the party. Sunday, after church, I take off for "home" in Illinois.

yes, I am very much looking forward to it. Seeing people I've not seen in too long, days of uninterrupted knitting, good food that I don't have to cook, baking cookies and making candy in a big-enough kitchen, decorating a real, live tree, and seeing people I've not seen in too long.

Be good, knit well, light some candles in the dark, celebrate the goodness of love, family (biological or "chosen"), creativity, life, joy, the changing of the seasons but the constancy of the Earth.
