Finished the first wrister last night and began the second one. These are much nicer than the "fingerless mitts" made of the chunky Wool-Ease I made last year - I think bulky yarn as something you wear on your hands for driving, holding a book in a cold house, etc., is not a good idea. (These wristers are made of a dk-weight).
I also made my lists for packing. This shows my priorities: my first list was what projects I was going to take to work on, THEN I listed the clothes I would need.
This may be the last post before the holiday season. Happy Hanukkah, Happy Solstice, Good Yule, Merry Christmas, Happy Boxing Day/St. Stephen's Day, Happy New Year, and Merry Orthodox Christmas. (I think that covers the holidays that will occur, in order. I know that Diwali was back in October and I think Eid al-Fitr was around Thanksgiving. {I had Muslim and Hindu friends when I was in high school, and they always pointed out that these were lunar-calendar based holidays and thus change every year}).
