I will add - it's very nice, very very nice, to be freed from having to cook for one's self for several days. My mom got here, looked at my kitchen, pronounced it too small for two people to work in, and asked me if I minded if she did the cooking on Thanksgiving.

I mean, I like to cook and all, but I had those papers to grade....I didn't mind one bit. So I sat in the living room with my dad while he watched football (I could care less about the game) and I graded papers.

and now, I have a fridge full of leftover turkey-stuffing-potatoes-cranberries-gravy with which to make Hot Turkey Sandwiches for dinner for the next couple of days. Definitely a bonus.
