I am now about midway through the foot of the swap-socks.

The foot part of a sock, once I've turned the heel and finished the gussets, is the fastest part.

In other news, I'm thinking more seriously about the Hot Springs trip. I just need to find a decent, safe hotel (single woman traveling alone) with non-smoking rooms, preferably close to the park. I tried Expedia but couldn't find anything that seemed quite right. I may resort to calling the park or the Chamber of Commerce there on Monday and asking a real live human being.

And all I need to do to the tenure packet is print out my letter-of-request and get the page-dividers and put them in. I think that's going to require a trip to the office-supply place in Sherman, but that's OK.
