Knitting names?

I wonder if a person's name really does have an effect on their personality (something the Kabalarians claim)
I never knew many other "Erica"'s growing up - I think there was one other girl in my grade, plus a couple of older women (most emigrants from Germany or Scandanavia). Now, I see there are several other Ericas who have knitting blogs, and more who are on the knitlist or the socklist. I know of e's little knitting blog and of the Knitting Geek.

Also, Theresa or Teresa seems to be a name that is found among unusually high density among knitters. I found a new-to-me blog this morning, Tales from a Keyboard Biologist (had to check that one out!). And of course there's Theresa at Bagatelle , Teresa of One More Row , and Teresa the knitting medical resident.
