Hallelujah! (on two counts):
first, as I was leaving my office, I found my gradebook. It had fallen down behind the chair I had hung my coat over. (Maybe I'm just weird, but when I find something I've lost - as long as it's not all icky or dusty - I kiss it. I kissed my gradebook. It's like a reflex response, I do it without thinking).

And....I went over the changes needed on my paper and they are really minor! I should have them done by the end of this afternoon. Then, tonight, I am going to reward myself with uninterrupted (by work) knitting time.
