Well, I didn't finish quilting on the Spools quilt. I am very nearly there (perhaps within an hour of finishing), but my fingers were getting so sore (I don't have the
"quilter's callus" any more that I once had when I quilted more) and so I figured it was best to put it aside.

Spent the afternoon reading journal articles on Asclepias and knitting on the Seaman's scarf insead. I have about 10" of garter st left to go and this one will be done.

Now, I am doing a little websurfing for fun - and found an interesting site with a few book reviews on it: Folio Books, which is a site based in the West Indies (it has a very "British" feel) that provides reviews (well-written) and links to Amazon to buy books. (Mostly of interest to me for the reviews - they are entertaining, and idiosyncratic, and enjoyable to read).
