One of the uses of having a blog:
Cookie Monster Scarf begun: August 9.
Cookie Monster Scarf finished: September 12.

(of course, that includes time spend at work, working on other projects, reading, etc.) I'm not disciplined enough to keep a "paper" notebook that only I would see - the "prod" of knowing at least one other person is reading keeps me commenting on my projects here.
