Finished the "Cookie Monster Fur" scarf last night, knit a bit on the socks. It is really comforting to be able to knit - even for a few minutes - after a really stressful day. In fact, it may even feel better than knitting after a low-stress day does.

And a link, courtesy of Socknitters: Wooly Thoughts, a site that incorporates mathematical and geometric principles into knitting designs. Good for the "I hate math (but love crafts)" crowd, good for people (like me) who are fascinated by both maths and knitting.

And, I did call Patternworks earlier in the week - got a real live person, even though it was "after hours". They said they'd look into it. The next day, there was a message on my machine saying the return had been processed and a check was on the way.
The check came yesterday. It was more than I thought I would get back, but maybe they're factoring in postage as well.
