Didn't do a whole lot of craft-work yesterday. I do now have five begonias and five snapdragons in my shade-garden area (spent several hours clearing out all the grass and weeds that had invaded after I hoed it up this spring and then failed to plant anything. I also planted a sedum in the sunny part of the garden.
I did dig out a set of embroidered pillowcases - wanted something different to do. I found a pair that I had forgotten about, but are nearly done - one is completely finished and the other one just had some backstitch/outline stitch to do on it. (they are cherubs and floral wreaths). I did some of the backstitching but then got really tired (from working outdoors, I guess), so I went to bed early and read.
This month's book club book is "Wuthering Heights". I'm enjoying it a lot but I suspect that some of the other club members won't - one was already complaining about it at the last meeting. Oh well. I just *like* British Victorian fiction....
I badly need to clean house this afternoon, but after that, I hope to finish the pillowcases.
Oh, and I cast on for the sweater right front. I'm past the first buttonhole. I'm not nuts about having to stop and measure for them (I like to just knit knit knit and watch the thing grow), but the worked-in buttonholes aren't bad. (But, given the gauge, they will take huge buttons - like coat buttons - to fill them).
