I am up to the decreases on the sleeves. I estimate I have ten rows to go and I will be done with the knitting.

And then, a question arises: How do I sew this up? Sand is a very thick yarn and I don't think it'll fit in the eye of my darning needle. I don't want to use regular thread because it won't stretch properly.
