Workprogress: Three exams have been written (cough...I mean 'updated' from previous years'. I mean, if I don't give them back, why shouldn't I recycle good questions). 1/3 of the ecology papers have been graded.

What's left? 2/3 of the ecology papers, 18 soils books (I think that will be tonight's task - not too taxing) and a student Honors project.

I just might make it after all.

And.....I had a paper accepted!!! With major revisions, but still, an acceptance is an acceptance. That's next week's project.

Knitprogress: zilch. But hey, look at all the work stuff I got done.

I did order some yarn. 16 balls of Sand (that's what's required plus a "safety" ball) for the pullover in the summer '99 FCEK. I've been lusting after this sweater for some time, and now that there are new (non-electric) colors of Sand, I decided I had to make it.

The color I picked is Beach Glass. I'm not going to link/put up a color card here because the reproduction of the color is yucky - it looks dark grey in the photo when it is really a vibrant bluegreen, like the Mediterranean in my imagination. I ordered a "real" color card from Patternworks and am glad I did because it really makes all the difference.

Note to self: before investing more than $40 in mail order yarn, get a color card. It's a worthwhile investment.

And I got 20% off! Patternworks was having a sale - supposedly it ended April 26 but the sale ad was marked on the invoice, which I didn't receive until Saturday. So I screwed up my courage and asked. And yay! they had extended the sale for people who had ordered recently.

When I finish Mom's shawl this is the Next Big Project.
