Well, the booties are near an end. All I have to do are knit the "inner eyes", put the eyes together, attach them, and embroider a goofy frog mouth.

I'm glad they are nearly done. I think I deserve to start a pair of fun socks after these. Maybe a pair out of some Mini-Ringel (I have several of the brighter colors of this; I'm a total sucker for variegated yarn). Or maybe some out of Opal tiger. I almost never wear things bright orange would go with, but I had to buy some of this yarn. There are lots of other cool combinations of Opal that make me drool.

Knitlink of the day (courtesy of Dangerous Chunky): Prayer shawls. A story about how people are reaching out to the hurting with knits. All knitters good people.

No water aerobics today, which is good, because it's meeting-fest day for me. And I have to run home at noon and see if I caught the critter that lives in my attic.

And, I couldn't stop myself: I had to have one of these. It's my Valentine's day present to myself. (For some reason, the SLC site is irritatingly slow)
