Not much is going on. I've felt sort of tired and dysphoric all morning. I don't know whether it's that I'm due for an allergy shot, or that it's the long-haul-without-much-in-the-way-of-breaks part of the semester, or if it's the news this morning (I'm sick of being on alert and being told to expect something very bad to happen, maybe today). here is the NYTimes spin on it.
How did people in London at the height of IRA bombings manage? How do people in Tel Aviv go about their days like this? Or do you get used to it, eventually?
Unfortunate Valentine's Day cards. I know I linked to this earlier, but as the day approaches, I find myself needing more and more of a cynical spin to counteract those d____ flower and candy ads.
More agape, less eros! That's what the world needs now.
In somewhat happier news, I got four rows done of the intarsia on the Bloomfield throw last night.
