Knitprogress last night: a few more rows on the IK portion of the Bloomfield throw. I'm beginning to consider what I want to make next. While in the walk-in closet where I store both my clothes and my yarn, I noticed the 5 skeins of Brunswick's "Arbor" (a thick and thin cotton yarn that I had never seen before or since I fell in love with it at Stitches and Stuff). It's a color called "Denim Ombre" but it's nicer than it sounds: it's various shades of sky blue with some pink mixed in. Very summery. Maybe I'll do a fast chunky shawl of this before doing the Trinity Stitch shawl.

I think I will be able to use the "Lacy Prairie Shawl" pattern out of Folk Shawls. I'll have to swatch, but as shawls are pretty forgiving garments size-wise, I think it'll work.

The colors of that yarn just make me happy every time I see them. Which is funny, because usually pastels aren't my thing.
