Hooray! the new issue of Knitnet is up! There are a couple of nice shawl patterns, and one for a dressy triangular scarf, that I think I will print out at home. There's also an article on the shearing of sheep, with photos.

Reminds me of a "seriously dumb" moment my mom told me about: she overheard a couple girls at the mall looking at sweaters. One girl commented that the sweaters were made of wool, which came from sheep. The other girl dropped the arm of the sweater she was looking at and said "Poor little sheep! Why do they have to kill them just to make sweaters?"
