I finally decided on the knit-project for my geologist friend's kidlet.
I'm going to do a pair of frog booties from a back issue of Family Circle Easy Knitting. They call for DK weight green yarn, and I have some DK-weight yarn that is very green - so green I had hesitated to use it for socks for myself.

Had a night of active dreams. Several of the "going about the day" dreams, which are always exhausting. Then, towards morning, I had a dream in which I actually was a Fillyjonk, that had inherited her great-aunt's huge house full of old furniture. I remember running my hands over the back of a leather-upholstered chair.

I wish I could have stayed in that dream a little longer. It's very cold and rainy in the real world, and I didn't want to go to work today.
