Since I've had a camera I can take video with, I've done this every year. This is this year's tree (the one at my house; I took this video on the 17th)
I focused a bit more on the new or newer-to-me ornaments: Bluey and Bingo, the Jewel Brites, the Bernard-and-Bianca one I bought.
Many of the ornaments on there are "vintage," either ones I've had for 25 years (the little fruit shaped ones) or are old ones I purchased from Etsy or antique shops.
(I had to refilm it in two parts because of the upload size limit)

Beautiful. We haven't put up a tree in years but appreciate the ones we see especially the care that has gone into putting each ornament up.
We haven't put up a tree in years, mainly because we don't entirely trust our two dogs and three cats to not make it into something resembling the crater of the Tunguska blast. Alas, we own some beautiful ornaments! Maybe next year I'll come up with a creative solution...this year was rough, partly because the Christmas season was ridiculously short, with Thanksgiving coming as late as it possibly can, so once that weekend was over, it was BAM! Three weeks and change to Christmas!
Lovely tree. I love the Longfellow poem that was made into a Christmas song. I never realized until now, but Longfellow wrote it during the American Civil War. Hence, the reference of conflict to the south.
