I did it

It's not totally perfect yet and I'm gonna hang on to the storage unit for at least another month (the charge is levied on the first of the month) because I want to buy some tall wire shelving units and install them on the big blank wall (you'll see) so I can stack ALLLLLL my fabric

Anyway, here's what I did

First day (Friday and Saturday morning)

Then painting

That was Saturday afternoon.
Then, Sunday, I removed the blue tape and put stuff back, and started sorting books.

I found several that I had duplicates of, and a few I don't want any more (They're not bad books, the designs in them are just things I would not make or wear).

Today I put the rest of the stuff back, sorted more in the closet and threw a lot more stuff away, and got the room *mostly* finished:

This is the wall I'd like to install shelves on, on either side of that built in bookcase. And maybe even get a shorter one to go under it....

I sorted a few pieces of fabric to eventually donate (there will be more later) and I also found an enormous tub of Wool-Ease I bought as much as 20 years ago and now don't want - I've got a message in to the local Goodwill (don't know if they'll respond) to see if they want it; it all has the ballbands intact and is like new. If they won't take it there might be someone I know on Ravelry who'd take it for charity knitting for the cost of postage. The other alternative would be to call the yarn shop in Whitesboro and ask them if they know, and if they would take it as a donation to go somewhere, I could just plan a trip down there soon and then take it.

I also found 2000 yards of Muskoka (a long-discontinued yarn from Berella/Spinrite). It's a really nice 100% wool; I am pretty sure I special-ordered this for a Wonderful Wallaby that I never made - now, I think I might just find the MOST yarn requiring cable sweater I wanted to make but never had enough yarn for (a simple sweater for someone my size takes about 1200-1500 yards, cables take more) and make that with it.

It's burgundy, one of the colors I seem to use a lot, but then - I wear that a lot.

I'm pretty beat, though - I also mowed the lawn this morning and it made for a long day of working
