This is the "Krummholz" hat I've been knitting on for a little while. I finished it this weekend, completing most of it during Zoom knitting time.
I blocked it, following the instructions on the pattern - the pattern shows more of a slouch hat but the blocking is how you'd block something like a tam o' shanter - flat, around an appropriate-sized plate:
The pattern is by Melissa LaBarre, it's originally from The Fibre Company. I used a Paton's yarn - Classic Wool, I think it was, a worsted weight - for the hat.
Here it is after blocking:
And here it is on (I know, I look pale, it's been a long day)

And yes, it was a long day. I gave my first exam, and taught a lab, and in both cases there were people who needed to be excused for Reasons. And several people will be out of the exam I give tomorrow, for Reasons (mostly sports, and what team does a midweek game, where they leave before 8 am?). And I admit, I get tired of this - always having to readjust my schedule around make-ups and similar, never feeling like anything is ever done.
Also, we have some additional meetings for some future stuff. At first I thought the first meeting was tomorrow, and I inwardly groaned when I got the e-mail: my one afternoon off, when I can go home and eat lunch at home! But no, it's Thursday, which means I'm going to be busy solidly from 11 am until 3 pm with no breaks at all - I will have to eat lunch during the meeting (it's over Zoom) and hope my TA is there during lab in case I need a restroom break.
(I also have a meeting Wednesday afternoon, and then the monthly meetings at church - so I may have nothing to post either Wednesday or Thursday, given that I won't be home much).
