Yay, it worked
(Argh. The video worked on my blog exactly ONCE. Go here and click on the video if you cannot get it to work directly)
I took a longer video of the tree, without narration, but with one of my favorite versions of "Jingle Bells." (I am not sure who the backup singers are; they are not credited. I thought maybe it was the Mills Brothers, but surely they were big enough to be credited? It's very similar to the Andrews Sisters version, and is I think of a similar vintage.)
(Edited to add: aha, it might be The Charioteers, an African-American vocal group, here's another version, it's possible the version on my CD was grabbed from a radio broadcast:)
Anyway, here's more of my tree....I didn't get all the way over it before the song ended, I started at the top of the tree...
