I’m stuck waiting

I’m at the train station right now. The train is an hour and twenty minutes late; apparently they got stuck behind a broken down commuter train between Fort Worth and Dallas. At least with a smartphone I can stave off loneliness; there is something melancholy about being stuck waiting for a delayed train.

And at least I got here safely. Someone pulled through on their red (making an after-the-last-minute turn and if I had pulled forward they would hit me. (Also I sometimes get that creepy feeling of “don’t forget you are piloting a thousand pound chunk of metal” and then I think of all the things that could go wrong...)

Once I get on the train, I will be good but right now it’s a little tiresome. My bags are VERY full but I have nearly three weeks in a cold climate and I need enough projects...at the last I managed to get the huge rolls of color changing yarn and the afghan that I haven’t worked on much lately.

( and now it’s nearly an hour and forty minutes late, argh)
