Two quick things

I didn't quite get Frost Flower done - it's very fiddly sewing all the pieces on - but at least I have her mostly put together:


I don't know that I'll get her finished tonight - two exams to grade today plus the monthly round of meetings at church.

I also finished my version of the Mira Cowl (the one I was making for me) during an exam yesterday. This time, I had to soak and block the cowl - the dye crocked off onto the needles and my hands so I had to rinse out the excess. (I tried the vinegar trick - supposedly the vinegar helps either set the dye, or get rid of fugitive dye).
