And I totally get that for people who are not fans everything in these amounts to in-jokes. But please give me this: this is one of the first times in my life I've been "in" on an in-joke, so I am enjoying it.

I like the oddness of that: Character from a Japanese anime singing a Finnish song and spinning a leek, which is sometimes taken as a symbol of Wales.
