And I'm back: and two giveaways

Wow. Connectivity keeps dropping out here on campus. And because we technically don't open until 11 (they decided to do that today, because of the roads), there's no one I can call.

Anyway.

One other thing that happened Monday was the mail came (yay). And in it, something I had ordered for my birthday - a "grab bag" from Phydeaux designs. In there, there were several nice skeins of sock yarn (not all her hand-dyes: two were from other dyers) and a skein of Kidsilk Haze (I'm sure there are patterns out there using just one skein of that...).

And I also got a set of mini-skeins. Five skeins, 20 yards each. I have no use for these. I have no idea if 20 yards is enough for hexipuffs if you're a hexipuff maker. They are all variegated and are different colors. If anyone wants them, drop me an e-mail with your address and I'll send them out.

I also wound up with a second issue of the Spring 2014 KnitScene. Rather than try to return it to the store I bought it at (which is in Sherman, and I don't know if magazines can be returned or not), I'd be happy to pass it on to someone if someone wants it. (I will admit that the patterns in this issue were kind of, in my opinion, forgettable, which is why I didn't remember I already had the issue. But then, your mileage may vary - there is a set of very-loosely-inspired-by-Sherlock-Holmes-stories patterns in there).

So, first person to ask for either gets them.

I'd be interested in the magazine.
