Just one more....

I saw this one after posting the other Academic Tim Gunns and it made me laugh, so here it is:

(jeggings = leggings made to look like jeans. Or Pajama Jeans, if you're a fan of As Seen on TV stuff).

I saw a lot of leggings-as-pants and jeggings this week when it was so cold, which kind of baffled me a little - when it's really cold out, the first thing I reach for are my jean-cut or trouser-cut corduroy pants, and if it's "gonna kill you cold" and I know I will be outdoors a lot, I will wear tights or long johns underneath them.

But leggings don't seem warm enough to be worn as the ONLY pants layer.

(And, as various ITFFers are fond of saying: Leggings are NOT pants. I will say, I can kind of give them a pass if a long enough top is worn over them (well, kind of being the operative word) but not with a short top where you see the contours of the woman's bum. There are some things that should perhaps be left a mystery.....)
