So, c'mon, grab your suitcase....
Time for me to lay out the clothes for the next 2 1/2 weeks or so on my bed and figure out what's the minimum I can manage with (especially considering for a few of those days there will be a baby in the house, and so washer/dryer access will be less - her parents use cloth diapers). And wind off the yarn for the pending projects. And make sure I have the right sizes of needles and hooks and various little tools, and all the patterns I want to take.
And books.
And yes, I will be tucking a stuffie or two in my carry on bag.
And tomorrow, I have to make sure to get my toiletries and my now-too-many medications and make sure those are in.
And then make sure the auto-waterers are on the plants, and the timer on the lamp, and the stuff that I can unplug unplugged....
But I'm done. I got the last soil samples done a few minutes ago and if I feel motivated tomorrow I can do my syllabi, but I don't HAVE to.
After break I am getting a new computer for at home. I found out on Sunday that the guy I go to church with who has a computer business doesn't just service 'em, he sells 'em. So I'm going to buy from him. I figure that while I might pay a bit more than I would at a big box place, I'll get better help and service if something goes wrong (which it often does with computers).
