I'm still knitting

Just, not as much as I once did. Life gets busy. (Most of my evening last night was spent grading exams).

I should photograph the Hagrid sweater - as far as I've gotten - at some point. There is something very satisfying to be about working on something fairly complex, and something with either a chart or a row-by-row pattern where you can very clearly see your progress as you add rows.

I've also switched back more to working on the Christmas scarf; I will need to get that done soon, and it's now to the point where it takes a while to complete a row. I think I'm up to 25 of the 42 points needed, but I don't count that as really halfway in terms of knitting distance, as this design gets wider as it gets longer.

I've also been picking away at the ostrich-fern lace stole; I want to finish that some time. I am slightly more than half done with it, as I attached the second ball of yarn a couple inches of knitting back. (This one may require some aggressive blocking in order to be "long enough."

I should also photograph my recent yarn acquisitions - the yarn from Stitches N Stuff and also some of the stuff I've mail-ordered recently. (I admit - I "stress buy" yarn - when I'm frustrated or sad I will mail order stuff. I ordered. I bought 800+ yards (four skeins) of Imagination in a color called Magic Wand because it was on sale and I liked it. Not sure what I will do with it, but I am wondering if there are vest patterns in my size that call for 800-and-some yards of a fingering weight - I don't think I want it for a shawl, or at least I don't think I want to use it for a shawl)

Big accomplishment of the day: Got all the revisions finalized on the provisionally-accepted paper, wrote the letter explaining how I did all of them, and sent it in. Six days before the deadline so I should be good. (And I admit, there are one or two things I did but said to myself, "I'd like to tell the reviewer to go and soak his/her head over this" but I did them anyway)
