finished Mixtape quilt

And something happier. (This was taken before my gardening; the tall dead grass on the left is all gone now).

I finished the Mixtape quilt this weekend.



It's good sized: 70 by 70 inches or thereabouts. (I have to measure it exactly to get a good idea of how to cut and sew the backing. And this IS going to be my next take-it-to-have-it-quilted quilt)

All floral prints (except for one of raspberries), all in pink, yellow, and a bit of grey:



The pattern is from Oh Fransson! (see the sidebar); it has three different but related quilts in three sizes each. I plan to do one of the 12-fat-quarter ones ("Party Mix," I think is the name of that pattern) using some pink and aqua fat quarters I have, probably with white sashing.
