Did another day of the Gilad workout this morning. (I was too tired Friday morning to get out of bed to do it. I figured the weekend yard work would take the place).
I'm not in as good shape as I thought I was. At least in terms of strength of certain muscles. Or maybe his workout is intentionally tough. I did a 15 minute "warmup" (light aerobics) before his show, I did the half-hour show, and part of the second half-hour and just had to quit.
I think maybe the skis have come in - I got one of those package-slips in my mailbox on Saturday and it's a "Delivery Confirmation" and the only thing I can think of that I ordered recently are the skis. (Well, there is some long-delayed yarn - it's a long story, but it was an indie dyer, I ordered around my birthday for some special-dyed yarn, then she had a major life upheaval and asked me if I still wanted the yarn even though it would be delayed six weeks or so).
I'm thinking, though - maybe do 1/2 hour on the ski exerciser (I might even be able to find time to do that some afternoons) and do the Gilad workout, most mornings at least. I like the idea of building more upper body strength than I apparently have now, and also working my abdominal muscles harder than apparently the ski exerciser does.
